Drawing is my favourite hobby since I was a kid and I have never stopped until now. I started life sketching when I was studying at University.
It had been put aside for a long time after I graduated. It was until year 2013 that I started picking up this hobby again.
Here are some of my previous watercolor drawings drawn when I was a student. It is a pity that I have almost forgotten how to draw it now,
so I need sometime to practise and pick up this technique again!

Pick of the Day
Here is one of my favourite book about watercolor drawing. There are many beautiful drawings in the book which is very good reference for watercolor technique.
Besides reading reference, it is always true that "Practice makes Perfect"!

Life Sketching Collections: New Drawing
Drawing is something that require serene mind. I have been busy with setting up the website for several months which keep me away from this serenity mood.
Finally, I have got the patience to draw again!

Watercolor Drawing:
Still Life Series
I started picking up watercolor painting again in year 2016. It is a good training for depth, light and color from the very basic still life objects.
I find it hard to control the two main rules of watercolor: the suitable water intensity and to maintain the transparency nature.

Leaves Series
I find some of my taken Photographs are very suitable theme for watercolor painting.
I started practicing from Leaf drawing which could apply similar technique of Still Life drawing.
The recent Leaf drawing is applied with the technique of layering and negative painting.

Floral Series
After practicing several Leaves painting, I started Flower painting which apply the similar technique of drawing Leaves.
Both are crucial to demonstrate the lightness and transparency of the petal.

Landscape Series
I occasionally draw landscape and building painting starting from Year 2017. I started drawing more landscape paintings in year 2020.
Actually, it is much much easier than drawing flowers. Drawing landscape is much loose and happy painting!

I have started a new series of fluffy animals drawing in Year 2020. It is very similar to painting flower
by "Wet on Wet" application. This "Wet on Wet" technique is very useful in creating the fluffy body
of the animals.

New Postcard Collections: Photos Collage Collections
It is a common practice to start with a Concept Board of images collage at early design stage. I have transformed this design technique into the following postcards with different theme.
The collage's images are selected from my own taken photographs without any repetition of pictures.
